My sound volume controls are greyed.

I just added 5.1 surround sound speakers to my system. The front,
rear, center, and subwoofer slider bars are grey. My mobo (Abit IC7-G)
has onboard sound. The drivers are RealTek AC97 Audio.

I get these errors when I test my hardware. Any suggestions?

The error says something about DvpSetup. I am not sure how to access
this in the control panel.

I would guess that your Onboard Sound Card does NOT support 5-1 audio,
your soundcard utility software should have the area where you would find the
Options to setup 5-1 if that is ineed an avaiable feature.
