My Screen wont display

I had to reinstall Xp, but on another screen, and when i put it on mine the
speakers wouldnt work, so I disabled the adapter, and now nothing past the
windows loading screen appears, windows works fine, I just cannot see what I
am doing, What can I do? Please help
 
Try going in XP in Safe Mode and you can enable the device again. Keep
hitting F8 during bootup yhen select Safe Mode.

I tried that, but it hasnt worked
