My screen just rotated 90 degrees (and I don't have a tablet)

I'm sitting here working, I think I mishit some key and all of a sudden
everything on my screen rotated 90 degrees clockwise. I mean everything,
except the controls. When I scroll up, the cursor goes right. This is
making it very difficult to navigate and fix the problem. I'm sending this
not from a different computer. Please help.

Hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys while you tap the arrow keys until you get
it right.

On some systems the video driver has hot keys to rotate the screen so
you can get the portrait or landscape orientation. On mine it's Ctrl-
Alt and then the arrow keys turn it up, right, etc. On some monitors
that pivot they send a signal to the video card and it rotates the
image to match your turning of the screen. I suppose that could go
haywire.

Thank you. While I was waiting for you guys I just did a system restore.
Should it happen again, now I know. Thanks again.

You can also turn that nuisance off in the Display Properties.
