Dear All,

I am a user of WinXP pro. My son wrongly press some keys
on the keyboard, then the screen suddenly rotate 90
degrees and I don't know how to resume back.

The problem still appear after I rebooted the PC. Please
advise what can I do to resume back to normal? Any hot
key to rotate the screen?

Thanks &
Regards,
Edmund

Hi, Edmund.

What make and model computer/monitor/graphics card? Your answer is likely
to be specific to your hardware.

But you might try to see what settings are available in Display Properties.

Hmmmm... I got it! Turn the monitor on it's side (90 degrees in the opposite
direction)... and viola! :-D

Or better, right-click on the desktop and choose Properties.
There should be a setting there to fix this. Cello! ;)

.
Why don't you just restore it back to where it was
working right.

This is due to video card settings.
right click on desktop>properties>settings tab>advanced button>look for
NVRotate and click it and from there you can refix the settings.

Try Ctrl-Alt-Up Arrow. Many graphics cards use Ctrl-Alt with the arrow keys
as hotkeys for rotating the display.

Hi RC,

My WinXP is come from HP Evo 330m, the display card is
Intel 82865(built-in) and the monitor is Compaq V500(CRT).
I read through the Display Propertys setting, but it seems
no option related to the feature of screen rotation.

Thanks &
Regards,
Edmund
