My Pictures Copy to CD

Deborah

When copying to CD I get a window called Confirm Stream
Loss. It says the file "Thumbs" has extra information
attached to it that might be lost if you continue
copying. The contents of the file will not be affected.
Information that might be lost includes: encryptable:
$DATA Do you want to proceed anyway? YES, YES TO ALL,
NO, CANCEL.

What does this mean?

Maybe the following article will offer
an idea as to what the files are.

What is thumbs.db

You get that message when copying from a NTFS formatted hard disk. I don't
recall it causing any problems. You can safely delete the Thumbs.db before
copying your images, it is create by the Windows OS and is used by Windows
explorer to create thumbnails more quickly for images in a particular
folder.
