Norton? & when viewing the running services on my system, all of the services
which are used under my log-in may be ended--correct?

We nee to see your computer hardware specifications before recommending a
possible solution!

BTW: People consider Norton as the "source" of most PC slow down (but I do
not!)

There is nothing wrong with Norton/symantec. I have been using it for
the past 5 years or so and am very happy with it.

Slow computers are because people have large hard disks when in fact
they should FDISK it and have only 20 GB for the main boot disk and
remaining for data files. I use only Office 2003 professional, Windows
XP SP2, Adobe 7.0.5, Roxio 7.5, Nero 6.X.X, Diskkeeper 9 professional,
Norton systems Works, Borland Delphi. 20 GB is more than sufficient for
me.

The remaing is for downloading files from the net for my other computers
which are never online.
