My Outlook 2003 isn't receiving or sending!

I just installed Outlook 2003 and imported all my old e-mails and contacts.
Worked fine. But it won't send or receive! It just gets stuck -- no error
message, no nothing. I input all of the addresses manually and double
checked. It says it can't find any of the servers. I already tried changing
the format from HTML to Plain Text, which held up 2000 for a bit. Nope. I
turned off my Norton. Nope. Any ideas?

All the server names are correct, and on the send it just times out. I never
get an end on the receive. It just keeps trying -- all five accounts.

try a new profile with just one account - see if it works. Go to control
panel, mail and add a profile, don't delete the existing one. if it works,
add another to it.

show the progress dialog and look on the error tab - tools, send /receive
menu - look for the menu for show progress dialog.
