My Network Places Link

Clicking "My Network Places" link (click on the text) in XP Professional
doesnt display "Entire Network" option. This option comes only if you click
"+" sign of My network places or Right click My network places and click
Explore. Is this bug or am i missing anything?

If you have the task pane displayed, "view workgroup computers" is an
available option along with several other interesting options. If you turn
off task pane and are using "view as folder," then only a list of
frequented network "sites" (local or remote) will appear. When the tree is
present, then you do have to click to expand so that the listing for Entire
Network is displayed. Even at this point it's a few more clicks to see the
computers currently active on the LAN.
