No you are not.
You can have good games if you pay.
The fact that you moan about not having good games shows that you are
not prepared to pay what it takes to get them.

Huh? What "good" games are available for Ubuntu?

I am currently playing Devil May Cry3 and, yes, I paid for it, but it
only runs on Windows.

So you can see a solution to your problem then.. run an OS than supports
your required applications.

Just as well someone didn't persuade you to buy a Dell with only Ubuntu on
it.
It would be a real pain to have to buy retail XP/Vista and then repartition
Ubuntu and bu%^er about with grub to get a dual boot system.
Funny that for someone who *needs* windows to keep telling everyone else to
scrub it and get half the software they could have without even asking if
they need the half they would lose.

I suggest you live by your own words and dump windows and your games.

The previous version is free and doesn't have ads.
It will do what you want as the latest just adds more games to the hacks
which wouldn't work on linux anyway.

I wouldn't have suggested it if it didn't.
Not only that but it doesn't care what region your drive is set to
either it will still play any region disc.

Try Auslogics.
You are confused.. NTFS doesn't fragment anymore than ext3.
So if you need to defrag NTFS you need to defrag ext3.

Can you post a link to backup your statement here?
So its not a reason to choose between windows or linux then is it?

They do as much as the ones you quoted.

If you say so.
I never found powerdvd any better. just different.

You shouldn't let the past hold you back.

You changed to switch from windows so the change wasn't much of a hassle
was it?
Not a reason to choose between linux and windows is it.
Now needing to run M$ office would be a reason to dump linux.

Would you care to detail any?

Linux is all third party software so I don't think that is a valid
argument for anything unless you want to use it against linux.

Yes you want to defrag NTFS but not ext3 when both suffer (or not) from
the same problems.

Again, prove it. Back up your words.
You use free software now and the same software is free for windows..
why are you being obtuse about it?

So download thge windows version of eclipse then.
Its not as though its limited to linux.
They want their software to be useful to many users not just a few linux
users in case you hadn't noticed.

Just as well your not in the UK then as Linux is now illegal.. it
contains code to bypass css which automatically makes it illegal under
the last lot of copyright laws (not that anyone has been done yet).

Use the one you are using now it is also free for windows.
You don't know much about open source software do you?
You think its all linux when its also for lots of other platforms
including windows.

So you are going to dump the free one you use now and go to microsoft
windows because Outlook is that much better than the one you have now?

How do you do it under linux without third party software?
Come to think of it how do you do anything using linux without third
party software as only the kernel is linux and everything else is third
party?

You have already lowered them to use a free mail client that you can get
for windows, a free news client you can get for windows, a free IDE you
can get for windows, etc. why would it be different under windows?

Nothing you claim to run doesn't have either a free equivalent on
windows or is directly available for windows.
It is not an issue for anyone that looks for a minute or two.

(I forgot the message from the emotion i had to write sorry :p)

NOTHING has no viruses, almosts no crashes. The games? Use wine and that's
it you may not play all modern like crysis but at least you can play........
