I've tried to enable my DMA through the device manager but it won't take. it
says that is enabled but it definetly is not. I know this because evrytime I
try and run a specific program it tells me that it is turned off. When I burn
DVD's, CD's, etc. it is very slow now. It takes 3 to 4 times as long as did
before.

1) Sart\Run\type; regedit and hit
enter\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi\Scsi Port 0\DMAEnabled set
it to 1

2) My Computer\right click Manage\Device Manager\IDE ATA/ATAPI
Controllers\Main IDE Channel\Properties\Advanced Settings\Device
0\Transference Mode\DMA is available (as opposed to Pio Mode)
