my computer says....

While doing anti virus protection, my computer says Please run the patch from related information to resolve this vulerability but I don't knowhow to do it. FYI, I re-install my system recently.
My printer also is not working but virus protection seems more important for me. What did I screwed up big time
my e mail is, (e-mail address removed). Thanks in advance.

Virus protection itself should not normally interfere with your printer. Always go to
WindowsUpdate http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ to check for the latest critical
updates and other information. Make sure that you are keeping current with your virus
definitions from the publishers website and if you have questions they may have a FAQ
section, a place to search for topics, or email support. -- Steve
