My Computer - problem

I sometimes get a problem with opening 'my computer' on the desktop - it browses for the files but cannot find them. Then the computer locks
Can anyone tell me what the problem is please.
 
Opening event viewer would give you more details,however you should g
to run,type:cmd In cmd type:Sfc /Scannow When the bar graph starts instal
xp cd,exit the info page.When its thru type:EXIT Also,run the DOS window in Min.
sometimes the graph runs behind it.
