My computer is SOOOOO slow...

I have just updated my Norton Antivirus and addes Spy
Sweeper and now my computer is so slow. Whether I use
the internet and try to load a page or I am typing in a
Word document; it is all very slow. My CPU usage is
going from 7% to 100% in seconds, up and down. What's
wrong? Can anyone help?

And what good will that do?! None of your worthless links address her issue.
I'll bet you anything you like that her issue is caused by the Office plugin
of NAV. If she disables that (and it should be disabled, as it is intrusive
and a resource hog) her problem will vanish. I use AVG and it doesn't feel
the need to interfere in everything a la NAV.
