Hello, Newbie here but in need of help! Ok my title may be a slight
porky pie but its certinately not very happy!

The problems started the other day when my Norton ran out. I have been
trying to uninstall it but cannot and i can't get any of my boot
options to let me into safe mode to see if i can do it that way.

I wanted to uninstall it as i got 3 months free with the PC (which i
wasn't aware of so brought Norton with the PC) and i wanted to install
the one i paid for as it won't let me have both on my PC. I have also
tried getting a subscription code but that was just a waste of money as
it doesn't work.

So i have downloaded AVAST and that seems to be working ok.

Apart from now i can't use Internet Explorer. It won't connect although
i can connect to the internet via my providers browser. But that won't
let me print.....

My computer also now won't let me restore! I am getting ever so
slightly frustrated.

What i really wanna do is wipe everything and start again, i don't have
anything i can't save before or of major importance, quite happy to
reinstall programs again but i can't even work out how to start from
scratch!!!

I think its me messing it up but i need help. please.

Please give the precise name of the Norton software you are trying to
uninstall.
