Your laptop did not "decide" anything. Laptops are not sentient, they have
no brain therefore they are incapable of carrying out the decision making
process. Something *you* did caused the problem. To fix it you need to RTFM
to learn how to reinstall the driver for your graphics chip.

You look at all the documentation and disks that came with your laptop.On one of
them is the video driver....thats what you need to reinstall
