mutilple browsers launching

My browser keeps firing up 3 to 25 windows all going to
http;//f24ds.com.... no virus is found. any ideas how to
stop it?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

Sounds like spy wear trying to contact a server or servers
depending on how much you have install. Did you try
http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/ select AD-AWARE
full install and also the UPDATE AVAILABLE for the latest
reference file. After you install Ad-aware if you use it
unzip the reference file and extract to C:\Program
Files\Lavasoft\Ad-aware 6 (this were I installed it to
default location) if you use the C: for the install
location or do a search on *.ref files after the install
and select yes to overwrite. How it helps
