Muti booting

ive been reading up on multibooting and i would like to try it, but what i
keep hearing is that you have to install the earlier operating system first.
my problem is i already have Windows XP Professional, and i want to install
Windows 2000 Professional. does anybody know if its at all posible ?

It's possible, but Windows 2000 has nothing to
offer compared to Windows XP.
