Music Files Compatible with PPT

I am trying to make a DVD Slideshow with photos that will be set to different
songs. I thought I was finished making the slideshow, so I bought DVD-R CD's
to record it on. I clicked "Package for CD" and it was going through the
process of burning it, when about 5 minutes into it, a window popped up and
said that it cannot be written. So, I took the CD out and put it into a
different computer, and all of the pictures come up, but none of the music
does. There is only one song that was burnt onto it, and it was in an MP3
format, the others were WMA files. Will PPT not create a slide show with WMA
files? Or am I doing something else wrong? Thank you for your help

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that it was Office 2003 Edition, thanks for
your reply back!

The files may contain DRM (Digital Rights Management). You may be able to
play them on your computer, but not burn them to CD for distribution. What
was the original source of the music files?

I'm pretty sure these songs don't have the DRM on them. I have burnt them all
to just a music CD before, and they all copied and wrote to that disk. But
for some reason, none of them will play with the power point presentation,
except for the one that is in MP3 format, which that also happens to be the
last song I have on the presentation. Maybe it's not the format of the song,
but prehaps I didn't copy the presentation correctly, what do you think? Oh,
and if by the original source of the songs you mean where did I get them
from, some of them are from CD's that I have bought, and some have been
downloaded. I'm not sure what you mean by the original source, I'm sorry I'm
not very smart when it comes to computer stuff! Thank you again for all of
your help.
