Multiprocessor support by W2000 Pro

Hi to all,

Maybe someone can help me with this question. I am
currently running W2000 pro on a com paq machine with one
Xeon 2.4Ghz processor. This system supports
mutliprocessors so I wanted to add another Xeon processor
to this system.

The Question is does W2000 Pro support more then one
processor and can I then use one processor as a dedicated
processor for on application?

Kind regards,

Gino Rosa

Yes. Win2K Pro supports up to two.

Apps that are multiprocessor-aware do their own process scheduling.

My Win2k Pro CD says 1-2 Processor Edition

Look for it to the right of the spindle hole.
