XP Home Multiprocessor

I keep seeing links stating that XP Home doesnt support
multiprocessors, but XP Pro does.

I am running Xp Home with an AMD X2 4200 dual cpu and I seem to get the
benefit of both processors a(ie: I can go to task manager and set
"Affinity" for processes, I can use all the dual cpu AMD related
tools).

Can someone explain? Is it because the X2 dual processor is just 1
chip? Does XP home support multiple CPU's or not?

thx

As Bob said, Home supports dual core/hyperthreading, it does not support
multiple physical CPU's
