Multiple received e-mails

I receive multiple e-mails from the same sender. Example, the same e-mail is
received a thousand times. Any suggestions on how I can stop this?

Do you have the same problem with other senders?
If not, then that one sender has a problem on *his* end.

Add the sender to the "Blocked Sender" list?

Then you will never get *any* of his emails.

After he solves his problem, he can be removed from the blocked senders
list. It's not rocket science. The sender is a spammer or has a virus in
his system. Either way, you don't want e-mail from him.
