Multiple problems with Outlook 2007!

My 2007 Outlook PST file seems to be deterioriating before my very eyes
(Vista ultimate OS).

First, starting last week, after EVERY program restart it gives an error
"Outlook did not shut down properly last time--checking database".

Then, it stopped "remembering" email account log-on passwords (dialog box
prompts to "ok" the password -- I have to RE-check the "remember passord" box.

Now (when will this ever stop?) . . . NONE of my email RULES are working AT
ALL.

What should I do? (With the least hassle, please . . . since I have lots of
Contacts, and Email templates, and about 10 email accounts).

Thanks for your help. I have Windows "automatic updates" turned on. Is
there something else I should do?

Yes, you have to go get the update. Automatic Updates doesn't serve up
that particular update. It will be included in Office 2007 SP2 when
that ships at the end of this month but that's still 10 days away.

Your suggestion sounds great, but I have no idea how to get the update.

Something is wron with OL connector.
I do have all of the up dates.
