Multiple Outlook processes

I have Windows 2K SP4 running Office XP SP1. At any given
time I check the task manager and have multiple instances
of Outlook running. Outlook and Windows seem to be
running fine with the exception of an occaisional Outlook
staoppage. I can "end task" on all and everything is
fine. It is more of an annoyance than anything, but I
would like to eliminate it if I could. Here is some
additional infomration that may or may not help.

I have 3 profiles (e-mail accounts) that I have set up
with the same login account. I have a Windows CE
portatble device that syncs with 1 profile in outlook.
The PST files are stored on a WINNT 4.0 Server.

Thanks

Two possibly relevant things - ActiveSync will keep outlook.exe loaded in
the background even if Outlook is closed, I believe, and I would bet it's
part of this problem - and note that MS does not support accessing PST files
from a network drive.

Also, Outlook is a resource pig :)
