multiple outllook sessions with different profiles

i have multiple email accounts and a different profile for each one because i
need to manage the email separately (business vs. personal). mail is being
delivered correctly, but i can only have one profile open at a time. if i
start outlook it prompts me to select a profile. then, if i start another
copy of outlook, the second invocation doesnt prompt me to select the
profile. it uses the profile selected with the first invocation.

can i have multiple copies of outlook running, each using a different profile?

No. As a work-around, you could set up multiple Windows users, each
referencing one of the profiles and then use Fast Switching to go between
the users, but I doubt that'd be any improvement.
