Multiple email accounts and Outlook

Susan

I have Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express installed on my
computer. I notice that Outlook Express allows the user
to switch identities, but this function does not seem to
be available on Outlook.

I would like to be able to receive mail to two different
email addresses into Outlook, but would like to keep them
segregated. I need to be able to use two different email
addresses as well as two different signatures when
sending.

Can this be done? If so, how? Thank you!!!

There are a couple of things you are asking here. To keep
different addresses up and keep them seperate, you would
need to set up seperate profiles for each address rather
then adding new email accounts under one profile. This
can be done in the control panel by clicking on the mail
icon. You can also set it her to require that you choose
a profile when starting Outlook. As far as the signatures
go, you can create multiple signatures and choose which
account uses which signature. This should be in the tools
menu and options on the Mail Format tab.
I hope this helps you.

Having per account signatures is only possible in Outlook 2003

Yes this can be done. However you will have to segregate
the yourself individually by creating rules as they enter
your inbox. Once you have all of your accounts setup
properly create rules to each of your addresses.
