Multimedia Audio Controller

I have just been cleaning up my laptop and deleting software that i didn't
think i used. I have just reloaded my laptop and it is searching for a
hardware "multimedia audio controller" i quess i have deleted it by accident.
But now i have no sound on my comp! Plz Help xxx

My comp is a Advent 7105

You probably deleted your soundcard drivers. They should be on one of
your utility disks that came with the PC when you purchased it. Or, you
can download them from the manufacturers website, they are free.
