Well my problem is complicated, or at least i think it is. Ok, I installed
Windows XP Professional x64 and when it installed, the Multimedia Audio
Controller wasn't found. Before i go into detail, i will tell you why i
installed it. Ok, i just got my laptop back from the repair shop and when i
turned it on, it was working just fine, including the sound. but i didn't
know what i was doing and i reinstalled Windows with window xp professional
x64. Well, thats where it all started. But now to make a long story short,
I need to find a way to get it back...i would love sound on my laptop.
Please, someone help me. I tried reinstalling it, and it doesn't seem to
work...so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Simply re-installed the 64-bit WinXP-specific audio drivers provided by
the laptop's manufacturer.
