MSSearch

Hello...If anyone can give me suggestions. I recently and
successfully removed 2 hijacked trojan spyware programs
(MSIESH and IEFeatSL Uninstall) that kept repeating popups
("Only the Best")and changing my Home Page to a default,
etc. Also RUNDLL was a problem BUT when I removed those 2
programs and deleted the .dll from the registry it was all
good. Except now, everytime I go to use some search engine
ie. Google or Yahoo this MSSearch keeps popping up. I
believe it's a residual of the rogue programs...what can I
do to make that MSSearch not keep popping up?
I'm not a techie, but, can learn. Thanks. Basia

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/RestoreSearch2.REG to restore
your search functions to defaults. You can then change them to whatever you
wish using the Customize functions in the Search Box.

I would also look into "HOST" files and Restricted CLSIDs as well as this
link to give u a start. http://www.spywareguide.com/blockfile.php

NOTE : so persons do not like the us of HOST file blocking but I use this
methon in conjunction with the others meantioned.
