msoe.dll error on 7/10 updates

Been using Vista Home Premium w/Windows Mail for about 6 mos w/ no problem.
Using AVE w/email scanner turned off. After installing the 7/10/07 windows
updates (there were 7 of them) I get the error "Windows Mail could not be
started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized." I've read all of these
posts and have tried everything. The only thing that worked was system
restore. I then ran the updates again (except the one for Windows Mail junk
mail, but it still caused the same problem. I restored again and it went
away. Does anyone know if it's a particular update that could be causing the
problem or have any other suggestions?

Exactly the same happens to me also...It's definitely last-update(s) related.
For the time being I use Windows Live Mail but that's not a solution as I
need to get my hands on my drafts in Windows Mail. So...

....We're waiting for an answer!

Ok..I tried this as Steve suggested and everything works fine now...I copy
and paste his exact answer. ( Thanks Steve!)

As Gary says, you need to paste the entire line I supplied with the quotes.

If that did nothing then I don't know what else you can do except maybe
delete all the registry entries for WinMail. The junk filter info is in the
registry and that might have been corrupted.

Go to Start | Search and type regedit. Then choose continue to allow it and
then read the help file.

Then go to this registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail

and right click it and choose Export to back it up.

Then make sure WinMail is closed and right click on the key again and choose
Delete.

Then try starting Winmail.
