MSOCache

I understand the MSOCache is a Office Setup folder but
I thought Disk Cleanup would remove it. I checked the Office
Setup Files and ran Disk Cleanup but the folder remains with
some files .
Can I just delete in Explorer??

Why do you want to delete it? It's a local cache of your OFfice 2003 install
files and will be very useful if you need to add components, apply service
packs, or run Detect and Repair.

I didn't realize so much was involved with it. I thought it
just a setup folder my Office componants used during
setup. I guess I could have checked MS Help and Support.

Thanks,
James

I think it keeps a record of what you've installed through the Office Update
web site.

Thank you much.
