BlankSo, what is it that made you change the default plain text setting for posting to newsgroups? Did you think the warning you received was just a suggestion?
Your post is hard to read. Try reading this and pay attention to section "d".

BlankThis is a problem with MSN Search Toolbar, you may get more help posting in the MSN Search newsgroup.
I suggest you post it as plain text so as not to upset people that may otherwise help you.

Try uninstalling/reinstalling the MSN Toolbar.

You have a toolbar installed -something from MSN. It is configured to load
at startup. There is something wrong with the file that stores the
configuration settings. Consequently it fails to start and delivers an
error message. You could try uninstalling the search bar and then
reinstalling it. Those steps usually fix software that has become "broken."

I can't tell from the error message or your post which MSN toolbar you have
installed. Most are some kind of search tool. Perhaps the newsgroup for msn
search could help you with this further.

Here's a link that will add the newsgroup for MSN Search to your Outlook
Express newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.msn.search

Or you can visit the same forum using a web browser (I find these a little
harder to navigate than a newsreader and not as convenient):

Hi, Ken. Sorry to say that I cannot help you further with this. I don't use
any add-on toolbars so don't know the problems and corresponding solutions
that could arise with the MSN toolbars. The folks in the MSN search
newsgroups should be able to help more since they use the program on a
regular basis.

Took a quick looks at this page:
http://search.msn.com/docs/toolbar.aspx?t=MSNTbar_PROC_UnInstallTbar.htm
It tells how to uninstall the toolbar. It mentions having to restart the
computer to complete the process. Also noticed in the newsgroup that it was
recommended to empty your temp folder.

That's all I can find on this. I did notice though that someone from MS
seems to post on a regular basis in the search newsgroup so it should be
worth a try asking your questions about MSN search there.

I have used Advanced Uninstaller Pro for some time... I can only say nice
things about it! One of the features is removing addons to Internet
Explorer..You can either remove them or simply disable them. You can
download the program here http://www.soft32.com/download_8359.html
thanks.. Rainy
