Can some one tell me how to uninstall the msn browser from xp home edition
as it is not listed in add or remove programs in the control panel.

You will find the option under Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. In
the left pane is Add/Remove Windows Components. MSN Explorer is in the
main listing.
