MSN messenger SP2

I tried to install SP2 and every time I try to open Msn messenger it crashes
and Windows shuts it down the Windows messenger works fine! I tried
un-installing MSN before SP2 installation and it makes no Diff it still
crashes. It's Version 6.2
any suggestions would be appreciated.
P.S. no other users were logged on (no fast user switching was active)

I think it needs to be upgraded regardless its 6.2. What I would do is
download back MSN Messenger and install it over again.
