MSN Messenger Audio problem

My office computer is on Win XP. My Home computer is on Win2K. I'm using MSN
messnger 6.2 in both machines and have dial up connections. Using MSN
messenger from my office computer(in Bahrain) I cannot have an audio
conversation with the home computer in Australia. Once I start the audio
conversation(after the home computer accepts it), it says "Connecting to..."
and after sometime it gives this message "Audio conversation ended".
The QoS Packet Scheduler not installed and the windows firewall is off with
an exception selected for MSN Messenger 6.2. I have not installed WinXP SP2.
Can somebody help me pls. Your help is highly appreciated.
