msn messenger password probs - Please Help!!!!!!!!!

I've just had a new pc with windows xp. I installed MSN
Messenger but i now see that my sign in name is already
on the main messenger box (i used to have to type it in)
and when i click on 'sign in' it doesnt ask me for my
password, just automatically signs me in - i've been into
tools and options and made sure all the right boxes are
checked or unchecked. Any help would be much appreciated.

To remove this, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User
Accounts in the Control Panel. Select the Windows XP account name you're currently logged
under, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click
'Remove'.
