MSN messenger not working with creative webcam

My webcam installed easily and sems to work with all my
applications except Windows Messenger or MSN messenger.
The Audio/video Tuning wizard claims the camera is
missing or
in use by another application even when none are open.
Any help would be appreciated

I am working with MSN 6.0 and I have the latest driver for
XP pro

I've seen this issue with creative webcam's before, you may want to try checking
WindowsUpdate for newer Drivers:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (click the Drivers section after scanning).

hi John , I tried the windowsupdtaed but it doesnt help at all, it
didnt find any new drivers to installed

Greetings Andre,

To get Windows Messenger back to the way it was, simply use System Restore. To do so, click
Start, then Help & Support, then "Undo changes to my computer using System Restore" and
restore back to a previous date when everything was setup properly.

Back to the original problem with Windows Messenger however, did you ever go through the
Audio and Video Tuning Wizard (listed under the Tools menu as Audio Tuning Wizard), if not,
after you restore, try doing so.

Hi uri,

There may not be any -- if you look on the webcam itself, what's the model #/serial #?
