MSN Msgr 6 does not show video from own webcam

Hello!
Just upgraded to MSN Messenger 6 (Norwegian), but I cannot see video from my
own webcam, only a gray screen. Both Yahoo! Messenger and Creative Webcam
Control show the video OK from the same webcam, and if one of these
applications are running and using the webcam, MSN Messenger correctly says
that it can't find any camera. If the camera is not used by any other
application the screen in MSN Messenger 6 webcam properties is just gray, no
error message. Why doesn't MSN Messenger 6 show video from my Creative
webcam? My OS is Windows 2000 Professional.

Hi Grethe,

hey I have exactly the same problem with a camera that I
just bought (in Colombia). It's a creative Webcam and it's
not working with msn 6.

Maybe it's the driver or something, or is it maybe a msn
messenger 6 problem?. Did you find already a solution?
Maybe there is a already a patch for it.
