When I send my Messenger webcam, viewer sees my TV from Media Edit

I went through the a/v tuning wizard. When I get to the webcam I have
several webcam choices. One is the Falcon tuner and I recognize one as my
webcam. The Falcon tuner shows the video from my windows media version,
which tunes in my cable tv. When I choose the webcam, the wizard shows the
correct picture, but even tho I select it, that webcam does not show when I
sent my webcam to others on Messenger. Instead they see that cable TV
picture from the media center. Its as if Messenger can only see one source,
the TV. How can I get my recipients to see my webcam.

Again, I can see it in the audio/video tuning wizard, but even tho I choose
it, when I go back into regular Messenger it is gone, replaced by the TV
channel.

Try doing this:
1. Start Messenger;
2. Click Tools > Audio and Video Setup;
3. In Step 1 (Speaker Setup) select None and click Next
4. In Step 2 (Microphone Setup) select None and click Next
5. In Step 3 (Webcam Setup) select None and click Finish
6. Repeat this procedure from 1 to 5 selecting the correct speakers,
microphone and webcam.
