msn messenger, no voice

I am using xp pro and messenger version 6.1 (6.1.0211). I use zonealarm pro as my firewall. My problem is that when i send or recieve requesta to start voice, it starts connecting then is not allowed. I can use voice no problem with yahoo instant messenger. Zonealarm is set to allow messenger act as a server. i turned ZAP off and connected but only usin remote assistance with a friend. Seems like a firewall problem, help very much appreciated

This may not even be related; however, in the many cases I have to
troubleshoot Messenger/Voice issues it had to do with the QoS setting being
checked in Network Places. Good luck!
