MSN Messenger 6.2 and Outlook Express

I have been using Windows XP Home, Outlook Express and MSN 6.2 for about 6
months and all of a sudden when I am logged in on MSN and have my Outlook
Express open it used to show my contacts from MSN if they were online or
offline and now it just shows the people's email address and that's it.

Any ideas why?

Online Status is now only available in Windows Messenger, Julie, according
to Messenger MVP Jonathan Kaye.

I had Windows Messenger first and it never showed me it either...I'm talking
about the status in OE, not Messenger. In OE the contact list it shows all
your contacts and when someone signs into MSN Messenger it changes to online
from offline....mine used to but doesn't now.

OE/View/Layout and uncheck Contacts.

You're right. It used to. It doesn't now. This new and due to
security-related issues.
