I had a customer call this morning with a problem and tried to walk him
through the system info button on the
microsoft word about screen. It worked on his but all I got was an hourglass
that laster maybe 1 second.
after I got off the phone, i tried running msinfo32.exe in the c:\program
files\common files\microsoft shared\msinfo
forlder but got the same thing. tried installing the msinfo32.inf file,
asked where the msinfo32.exe was and finished but
still doesn't run. googled for some answers but couldn't find anything to
fix it without a repair/reinstall of xp. Is the only
option or is there a simpler way to do this?
