MSIEXE.exe starts everytime I start Exel

Hi,
I have MsOffice 2003, with all available updates

However whenever, I start Excel, windows installer starts, and demands the
Office setup CD,

Now this has become annoying as everyitme, I have to cancel the windows
installer, and then wait for it to terminate so that I can start using Exel.
and still the msiexec.exe keeps running in background ( task manager shows
its running)

How can I get rid of this abnormal phenomenon.?

Sounds like doing the original install, Excel (or parts of Excel)
someone toggled and selected the run from CD option.
