MSIE 6 still runs despite using MSIE7

When I click on a link in Microsoft Security Analyzer 2, Internet Explorer
6 runs instead of MSIE7. I applied all patches to MSIE7, but still have the
problem.

Any help appreciated.

I use Firefox 2.0.0.6.

When I click on some information links when I use Microsoft Basic
Security Analyzer, I get version 6 or Microsoft Internet Explorer, not 7.
