MSHearts error using VISTA

I've been porting MSHearts from release to release of Windows for years. I'm happy with this version (I'm not happy with the Vista version) so I keep using it. It ported to VISTA just fine and I've been using it successfully since Feb 2007 when I first installed Vista (Ultimate). Just recently it's mis-behaving. After running for a while (say half way to 100) the cards start overlaying the previous board. Quickly the board/cards become unreadable. It's like a collage of card faces all over the board. Not sure what fix I installed to cause this problem. I'm not on SP1 yet as some of my hardware is not quite up to SP1 apparently. I'm running at 2gig, a CoreDuo processor, all the goodies. Vista Ultimate. MS Hearts is at version 3.11.0.300. I'm also using Object Desktop.

Any ideas?
