Linda

Hi! I have been having terrible problems with my pc. It
started out as a virtual memory problem. I got some help
here and that is no longer a problem. Then the taskbar
couldn't be accessed. After reading other threads I ran
the msconfig and through process of elimination found 1
service that was the culprit-SSDP Discovery Service-
manufactured by Microsoft. Even with that turned off I'm
still unable to access the internet with my network. The
cables check out on the other pc and the other pc connects
fine. Could this be a problem for the net as well.

Exactly what is this SSDP and do I need it to access the
web, or for anything else-Thank you-Linda

Thanks Kelly and Byte! I'll probably be back again! As
soon as I figure something else out! Best regards!>-----
