Msconfig

Because Win2k does not have msconfig in it's system, I "borrowed" it from
Win XP as suggested on other newsgroups. However, when I run it either from
the command prompt or from start/ run, the msconfig screen only flashes up
for a moment and then disappears again. Any ideas please.

Thanks

Geoff.

If you copied msconfig.exe to c:\winnt\system32, it ought to run easily
enough from start | run - but note that if you have a virus on your system
it may be disabling access to it, among other things. Have you done a full
AV scan with updated AV software? Get a second opinion at
