MSConfig Help Needed

Guest

I have multiple instances of programs in the startup tab in MSConfig. I've
looked in the registry to remove the duplicate processes from starting, but
none are duplicated. Is there a way to remove them from the list? I have
unchecked the duplicates the don't need to be running, but want to remove
them so I don't have to boot in selective mode.

For example I don't need dellmmkb.exe loading 6 copies.

What should I do?

DSI,

The unchecked items in MSCONFIG are actually present under this registry
key.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg]
