MS Office and Win XP

Hello,

I use MS Office 95 and recently switched from Win ME to Win XP Pro.

When I try to open an MS Access or MS Word document by clicking on the
icon in the Documents menu, nothing happens. I have to open the
application and within it open the document.

Any idea why? Is MS Office 95 incompatible with Win XP?

MS Office 95 is not really compatible with Windows XP.
Consider purchasing the full version of MS Office XP.

MS Office 95 is not really compatible with Windows XP.
Consider purchasing the full version of MS Office XP.

Or 2000 - you can probably find that much cheaper than XP (probably
somewhere like Ebay) and that works perfectly in Windows XP.
