Just bought Altitude Concorde Limited Edition.Loaded into "MS Flight Sim 2004
Century of flight".When I now try to start the Flight sim it tells me that I
have the wrong version of MS Flight Sim 2004 .It says I have version 9.01
build 40901.01 and it needs version 9.00 build 30612.It then gives me the
option to continue without loading certain aircraft (concorde I would
think). When I try to carry on opening the flight sim it comes up with the
usual message " Microsoft flight sim has encounted a problem and needs to
close down etc etc"I had to use a combination uninstall program (Concorde)and
Norton go back to get my flight sim working again. Please help a frustrated
would be super sonic pilot.
Happy new year to all

You should contact the publisher of the Concorde add-on, do you have
the exact error message? Would it be that it installs an obsolete
version of FSUIPC (add-on module for FS)?

It appears that the Microsoft FS2004 update which took the version to 9.01
may be the culprit :)

Went to Koch Media Knowledge and found the following.
"THE VERSION OF FS2004 DETECTED IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS VESION OF FSUIPC!"
This error is displayed if version 9.1 of the Flight Simulator 2004 is
installed.
After that Microsoft changed some modules that are now not compatible with
certain addons.
To resolve this you need an update of the file FSUIPC.DLL.
You should find the free update here;
http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
After the download please uncompress the file FSUIPC.DLL to the modules
folder of your Flight Simulator.
(By default this is Standard: C:program files Microsoft Games Flight
Simulator 9 Modules).
Then try to restart Altitude Concorde or other addons.

I did all of the above, reinstalled Concorde, and low and behold.it worked.
Much thanks for all your help.I know where to come for help in the
future. Thanks again and Happy new year to you all.

It looks like it would be easier for you to download/buy FS2002 so you could
use Concorde without all the hassle.(Boost the Graphics on FS 2002 and you
won't notice much differnce).
