MS Fax: Keep all received faxes?

Guest

I am using the MS Fax component of Win2000 to send and receive faxes.

It works ok, and I know where the received and sent faxes are kept.
However, only one fax is kept; when a new one is received, the
previous one is deleted.

Is there a way to have it not delete old faxes?

It does keep all faxes by default. How did you configure Windows 2000 Fax?

The only configuration I found is in Fax under Control Panel. It lets
you decide whether you will keep incoming and outgoing fax files and
where, but I couldn't see how to keep it from deleting the prior ones,
which it is doing.

Is there somewhere else to configure this?

Under Regedit (HKLM/software/microsoft/WindowsNT/current version) I
did not find an entry under "fax" or "Microsoft Fax" etc., but under
OLFPorts is the entry:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\1033\WFXMSRVR.EXE,WFXMSRVR,WFXOUTLOOKSMTPPOP3, 60

I tried the WinFax SE, but I don't use Outlook and it was worthless,
so I disabled it and reverted to the Win2kPro Fax. Could this explain
the behavior? If so, what could I do?

I was asking where you configured Windows 2K Fax to route faxes.
